Even if you are trying not to listen, the very fact that you have your eyes closed will heighten your other senses.The Murderer and his Accomplice try to secretly mislead the real detectives by picking the wrong weapon and clue. As tactics go that might not seem so pleasant, but social deduction games, in which one or more players secretly work against the rest, have been a major hit ever since the genre got going.

You can play Deception completely straight, name a player and simply choose two cards in front of them, but it is much more enjoyable to weave a personal narrative about how they used those cards to commit the crime. Yeah, sounds like they prioritized actually finishing the licensed ones to me by giving up on the other ones (and asking for additional money). I had noticed the increasing mentions about the rise of fascism in other countries (1930's) as the show went on, with the usual talk of not needing to worry about it.The visual element of the game encourages players to think outside the box and creates extra space for ridiculous misunderstandings.
